In the Know

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away – OK, about 30 years ago in the Longmont downtown – I had the everlasting pleasure of working in a bookstore. Full Bookshelves

“Bookstore,” while a great word, doesn’t really go far enough. We sold books … and magazines … and newspapers … and comic books … and U.s. Geological Survey maps, for that matter. Add in the most mouth-watering popcorn on the block, and you had a slice of heaven for anyone who loved to read.

Best of all, there was always something new.  More to discover, more to know.

That’s still important today.

We know our customers want to know what LPC and NextLight have been up to lately. That’s part of why this very blog got underway … has it really been two and a half years ago now? And it’s also why we keep a wide array of sources – some familiar, some very, very new – to keep you up to date on everything, whether it’s a way to save on NextLight by bragging  or how to get an energy efficiency assessment over the internet, or even why Mylar balloons and power lines don’t mix.

So it’s probably a good time to take stock. Besides this fantastic blog (he said modestly), what else is on our virtual shelves? For starters:
