Learning the Latest

When life hits the unexpected, we all have the same question.

“What happened?”

That’s doubly true when the unexpected involves something super-reliable, like LPC’s super-consistent electricity or NextLight’s head-of-the-class internet service. So if there’s an outage or some other urgent issue that everyone needs to know about NOW, we’ll hustle to get the word out – usually on our LPC-NextLight Facebook page, where we can easily keep you updated and respond to any comments.

But these days, we also have another tool to keep you up to date on the NextLight network. If you haven’t met it yet, I’m proud to introduce our NextLight network status page. Serious man studying laptop

It’s a simple display, where you can see at a glance whether a network outage is happening, which part of town it’s happening in, and a brief update of what we currently know about it. Most of the time, to be honest, it’s going to be a pretty boring page, showing all systems go and no problems reported. (Reliable fiber-optic service is not exactly the stuff of Hollywood action movies.) But if something in your home connection feels off, you can bop over there as a first stop to check out whether there are any reported issues in the area.

If there is, we’ll fill you in with the latest, updating the page until the problem is solved. If it’s all quiet with the network at Condition Normal… well, we still want to help you figure out what’s happening to your own service. Give our tech support team a call at 303-774-4494 and we’ll be glad to help you get back to the speed and quality NextLight is famous for.

After all, you’re not just our customers. You’re our community. And every day, we’re going to work to give you our best.

And that shouldn’t be unexpected at all.
