Longmont City Council Member Sarah Levison Appointed to National Committee
January 3, 2014 – Longmont City Council Member Sarah Levison has been appointed chair of the National League of Cities (NLC) Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations (FAIR) committee.
The FAIR Committee of NLC focuses on key finance issues affecting the nation’s cities and towns.
“Sarah has worked hard to earn this appointment. It benefits both Longmont and all of the cities of Colorado,” stated Sam Mamet, Colorado Municipal League (CML) Executive Director.
Levison also was re-elected at the Nov. 2013 NLC meeting in Seattle for a second two-year term on the Board of the NLC constituency group, Women in Municipal Government (WMIG).
Levison is in her second term as an at-large member of the Longmont City Council.
