Longmont Police Seek Witnesses
On Monday, October 25, 2021, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Main Street on the report of an assault. The victim was transported to an area hospital on October 25, 2021 and passed away today, Tuesday, November 9th.
The victim, a 100-year-old white male, told a bystander that he had been pushed from behind and fell into a parked car, then to the ground. The victim, who has limited eyesight, described the male as wearing pants with a blue checkered pattern on them. A witness described seeing a black male between forty and fifty-years-old, wearing black pants with blue squares in the general area.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
Longmont officers have been investigating this case since the assault occurred on October 25th, 2021. While police have canvased businesses in the area, they are asking for anyone who may have video of this incident, or was a witness to please contact Longmont Police Detective Clark at 303-774-4392.
