Longmont’s July 4 Celebration Returns with MORE Fun and Food
There will be something for everyone at Longmont’s 2025 July 4 Celebration! The fun starts with the long-standing Concert in the Park, followed by a family-friendly street party and drone and fireworks shows. This year’s street party will feature live music on THREE music stages, MORE fun activities for kids and adults, MORE food trucks and vendors, and MORE space to get the best views of the drone and fireworks shows. All the following activities will take place on Friday, July 4. Visit LongmontColorado.gov/fireworks for the most up-to-date information.
CONCERT IN THE PARK
The annual Fourth of July Concert in the Park will feature performances by The Longmont Symphony Orchestra and Longmont Chorale, an annual picnic contest, and other fun and free activities for all ages at Roosevelt Park. Picnic contest registration begins at 11 am and music performances and other special programming will run from 12:30 to 3 pm, including opportunities for kids to conduct the orchestra and food trucks. It all ends with a bang when cannons blast along with the Symphony performing the 1812 Overture.
STREET PARTY
The Street Party will be on Emery St. from 1st to 3rd Ave, from 5 to 11 pm. This year there will be THREE live music stages, carnival games and inflatables for kids, axe throwing for adults, and more space to get the best views of the drone and fireworks shows. Entrance to the Street Party zone is FREE and food and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be MORE food trucks and drink vendors this year – so expect shorter lines! Limited street and lot parking will be available throughout the surrounding areas and designated ADA accessible parking will be available at the OUR Center (220 Collyer St).
DRONE SHOW
Local high school students with the Innovation Center of St Vrain Valley School District Drone Performance Team will present a drone light show that will fly above the Dickens Farm Nature Area* starting around 9:15 pm. The show will feature 300 drones and include animations created specifically for Longmont’s July 4 celebration. NextLight, Longmont’s community owned fiber internet service is a proud sponsor of the drone show.
