Mosquito Update 8/18/2026

The City of Longmont has not yet begun spraying for mosquitos this season. While the risk of transmission of West Nile is low, it does still exist. Community members are encouraged to practice West Nile prevention. This includes applying insect repellent, wearing clothing that covers exposed skin, moving indoors from dusk to sunrise, and draining standing water.
