From 6 to 9 pm on Tuesday, August 1, neighborhoods throughout Longmont will join with communities nationwide for the 34th annual National Night Out (NNO) crime and drug prevention event. Lock your doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors. Many areas plan special events such as block parties, cookouts, parades, flashlight walks, contests and more. A 2017 National Night Out Planning Kit is available at LongmontColorado.gov (search “National Night Out”) to help you jump-start local activities.
