Due to inclement weather this week, paving operations on Coffman Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue have been delayed. Please note the new date for the driveway closure for the Longmont Post Office parking lot at 201 Coffman Street.

The closure will start at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 through 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1. This closure is for final paving work on Coffman Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue that will occur on Tuesday, September 30.

Customers are encouraged to park on adjacent side streets. Please note there will be intermittent closures of the pedestrian crosswalks at 3rd Avenue for customers using the public parking lots north of 3rd Avenue. Vehicles are prohibited from accessing the customer parking lot from Terry Street.

The Longmont Post Office will remain open for business during the parking lot closure, offering usual access to counter services, P.O. boxes and passport appointments.
