New Traffic Pattern on CO 119 Begins March 23

Beginning Monday, March 23, a new traffic alignment will be in place on Colorado Highway 119, just west of the St. Vrain Creek Bridge.

To allow construction of the St. Vrain Greenway, Phase 13 pedestrian underpass in the westbound lanes, eastbound traffic will shift toward the right shoulder, and westbound traffic will use temporary lanes in the center of the roadway. The lanes will be divided by concrete barriers, and two lanes of traffic will remain open in each direction.

This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place through late August. At that time, work will shift to the eastbound lanes, and eastbound traffic will move to the temporary center lanes.

Drivers should follow the posted signs. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 MPH through the work zone.

Regular construction hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the project webpage for the latest information.

Questions or concerns about the project can be directed to the project hotline at 720-892-5318 or by email at st.vraingreenway@getinfonow.us.
