Overnight lane closure scheduled Nov. 16 for pedestrian bridge installation on CO 119
Overnight work is scheduled from 6 pm Monday, Nov. 16, to 7 am Tuesday, Nov. 17, on westbound Colorado Highway 119 near County Road 5½ to allow crews to install the second pedestrian bridge for the St. Vrain Greenway Phase 13 project.
Crews will assemble the bridge sections and use cranes to lift the structure into place. The installation is expected to take one night.
During the overnight work, motorists can expect a right-lane closure on westbound CO 119 between CR 7 and CR 5½. Motorists should be aware of construction trucks and equipment entering and exiting the work zone. Please follow posted signs and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
The City of Longmont appreciates your patience as crews work to expand the St. Vrain Greenway Trail and improve connections for pedestrians and bicyclists.
