Police Presence in the 1200 Block of Hunter (NW Longmont)

police fire logo public safetyPRESS RELEASE: On Wednesday, June 3rd, at approximately 4:15 AM, Longmont Police Services were notified of a possible shooting in the 1200 block of Hunter Court (NW side of Longmont).

After the shooting, the suspects and victims fled the area in separate vehicles.

Approximately 90 minutes later, police located the vehicle which was shot at. The victim, a 34-year-old male, was deceased inside the car. The driver of the victim car fled leaving the deceased in the car. The driver of the victim vehicle has been identified and the vehicle they were in was determined to be stolen. The victim vehicle was found in front of a home on Valentine Lane and is not connected with any of the parties involved in this investigation.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model 4×4 Toyota (could also be a Ford or Mazda) pick-up truck white in color, with an extended cab. Police are working to identify the two individuals who fired at the victim vehicle.
