Public Invited to Discuss Land Development Code Updates
The City has been working on updating the Land Development Code to implement the recently adopted Envision Longmont plan. The development code regulates items related to the physical development of the City including annexing, zoning, subdividing and developing property. Based on input received from the public, interested parties, the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council, a consolidated draft of the code update has been prepared, which can be viewed on the City website: http://bit.ly/developmentcodeupdate
Two Community Meetings will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 3:30 to 5 pm OR from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Longmont Museum Classroom, 400 Quail Road. The meetings are intended to provide an overview of the project, discuss project goals, and review updated material, with opportunities for questions. Plan to attend one of the two meetings – the same material will be covered at both meetings.
See the City website link above for additional details regarding the code update and information on dates and notice of upcoming meetings. Questions and comments can be directed to the Planning & Development Services Department at 303-651-8330 and via email at longmont.planning@longmontcolorado.gov.
