See a Hanger? Call Us!
NextLight’s got a lot of great ways to reach out to folks. There’s our Facebook page, our web site, even the Network Status Page for urgent alerts.
But sometimes it’s hard to beat a paper door hanger.
Most of Longmont probably remembers the NextLight door hangers that would magically sprout up during the big build. That was the sign that NextLight would soon start work in a neighborhood – or better yet, that the work was completed and service was now available. Yay!
Well, we’re still putting out quite a few door hangers. And if you get one yourself, please respond right away – it means we need to hear from you so that we can keep getting great service where it’s needed.
The door hangers we’re putting out now are an alert for pre-install work, the preliminary work that our crews do so they can bring NextLight to a house that hasn’t had it before. To make those connections, we’ve got to work in the nearby utility easements. We visit a neighbor’s property, go in the yard to get things done, and then get on to the next job.
But if you see our pre-install door hanger, it means our folks need your help getting into the yard so that we can reach the easement, probably because of a locked gate or something similar. When that happens, please call the number on the hanger. That not only helps us, it also helps your neighbor by making sure we can get them hooked up on schedule.
After all, NextLight’s a community network. This is one more way that we all help each other out as a NextLight community and keep it growing.
By working together, we can make sure no one’s left hanging.
