What we know at the moment is that a stolen 2015 black Jeep Cherokee was headed southbound to Longmont on Hwy 287 traveling at a high rate of speed. A cement truck was heading eastbound on Hwy 66. The two collided in the intersection. The driver of the cement truck and one occupant of the Jeep were taken to a local hospital. One occupant of the Jeep was flown to a hospital in Denver.

Because the accident is under investigation, this intersection will be closed until at least 4pm. Choose alternate routes for your travel Monday afternoon.
