Spellbinders Storytellers Seek New Volunteers
Spellbinders Storytellers Seek New Volunteers
Can you tell a good story? Entrance an audience with your voice and words? Do you love to act or perform? The Longmont chapter of the Spellbinders Storytellers needs you!
The Spellbinders Storytellers is a group of adults that visit Longmont area schools throughout the school year, promoting literacy, sharing the value of storytelling, and connecting young children with their elders. With the summer peaking and the next school year fast approaching, the Longmont Spellbinders are hosting another volunteer orientation and training series in August and is seeking additional volunteers to join their ranks. Training and orientation sessions will be held August 16, 19, 24, and 31, 2016, and volunteers need to be available to attend all sessions.
If you value literacy, like spending time with kids, and have the time to change lives, please consider joining the Spellbinders Storytellers. To learn more about the Spellbinders, visit their webpage or contact Children’s and Teens’ Librarian Kathleen Kunau by email or by phone at (303) 651-8884.
The Spellbinders need you and great stories are waiting to be told!
