The City of Longmont Launches New Resources for Planning and Development
With so many moving parts, the development process can be cumbersome and difficult to navigate. In response to this, The City of Longmont has created a suite of resources to clarify and facilitate the process and give transparency to the Planning and Development activities throughout the City of Longmont.
The Development Handbook is a comprehensive yet simple guide to Longmont’s Development process, guiding applicants through each step, from pre-application to Certificate of Occupancy.
The Fee Manual, a comprehensive document listing the fees related to most development projects, includes information for electric fees, fire permits, impact and development fees, licensing, plan review fees, primary fees, school district fees, storm water drainage, water fees and miscellaneous inspection fees.
The Interactive Planning Map provides information such as locations of active developments in the City, parks, bike routes, school, Envision land uses, subdivisions in the city, zoning information and much more.
The City hopes that this new suite of simplified resources will bring clarity and visibility to the Planning and Development process for residents and business owners in the City of Longmont.
