The Library Welcomes Fall with New Events and Programming

The Longmont Public Library is excited to announce a brand-new season of programming, author talks, special presentations, and more. Pick up our Fall 2025 brochure next time you visit, or scroll through digital brochures in English or Spanish on the Library’s brochure page.

What’s New? Banned Books, Four Author Talks, and Theater Workshops!

The Library is thrilled to welcome four authors this fall. We’ve also made it easier to search and find author talks on our events calendar. Bookmark bit.ly/LibAuthorTalks!

Two Free Theater Workshops for Teens!

Step into the world of storytelling and stagecraft in two hands-on theater workshops for teens with Riggle Me That Production! Over the course of four exciting hours (with breaks), participants will explore classic character archetypes, collaborate creatively, and bring original skits to life—all while building confidence, communication skills, and a deeper appreciation for performance. Registration is required for both of these workshops:

Special Storytimes this fall

The Library’s ever-popular Storytimes engage children and their grown-ups with early literacy activities designed to foster a lifelong love of books and reading. Mark your calendars for Guest Author Heather Preusser to the Library; get dressed up and come to our special spooky Halloween Storytime on Oct. 31, and come to a special Best Books of 2025 Storytime with Cocoa & Cookies on Dec. 22!

#MoreToDiscover

The Library is so much more than books! We invite you to get a Library card if you don’t have one already and discover all the Library has to offer. Check out 3D printing services, ESOL materials, adults creative nights, get free homework help, register for free events, drop into book groups, open chess nights for all ages, bilingual programs and conversation groups, videogaming clubs for kids and teens, get Discovery Passes to popular destinations all over the state, take advantage of language learning support, a variety of helpful legal forms, and so much more.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Library soon! And be sure to sign up for email newsletters so you don’t miss a thing.

From all of your friends at the Longmont Library, we wish you a very happy fall.
