Join the fun at this family-friendly FREE event as our community comes together for the 9th Annual Longmont Earth Day Celebration! This year’s event will be held from 10am – 3pm on Saturday, April 22 at Timberline PK-8 School, 233 E. Mountain View Ave. There will be a wide variety of educational and entertaining activities including up-cycled arts and crafts, group bike rides (don’t forget your helmets!), community booths, baby goats, ecological virtual reality, assorted electric vehicles, food trucks, and more! NCAR Explorer Series: Hurricane Forecasts

The 2022 hurricane season caused devastating damage, loss of life, and disruption. Recreation Job Fair

Recreation Services is hosting a job fair from 4-5:30 pm on Wednesday, April 19 to fill a variety of positions in 2023. Join us in the lobby of the Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road and have your questions answered about various jobs available now and this summer. Jobs for ages 15 years and older include lifeguards, building supervisors, front desk staff, fitness instructors, pool managers, day camp leaders, custodians, sports officials and more! The Library at the Museum: Author Erika Krouse

Join Longmont Library Adult Services Librarian Jana Kopp at the Longmont Museum starting at 2:30 pm on Sunday, April 16 for an intimate conversation with Erika Krouse, the acclaimed Colorado-based author of the memoir “Tell Me Everything: The Story of a Private Investigator.” Program followed by a book signing with books for sale in the Museum’s Gift Shop. Sandstone Visitors Center open

The Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center, 3001 Sandstone Dr, is a historic property first homesteaded in 1860 by the Coffin family. It includes hands-on displays of area environmental features, a nature trail and scenic overlook. The Visitors Center is now open for the season from 10 am – 2 pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. Monday hours begin May 1. Admission is free; donations welcome! Ralph Price fishing permits now on sale

Annual fishing permits for Ralph Price Reservoir are now on sale! A Colorado Parks & Wildlife fishing license is required at all City of Longmont fishing areas. An additional, special permit from the City of Longmont is required to fish at Ralph Price Reservoir inside Button Rock Preserve. Free and easy downtown parking

Don’t hunt for a spot. Park hassle-free at The Spoke, Longmont’s newest garage. Enter on Coffman Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on Coffman. Free public parking is available on levels 2 and 3 in the blue colored spots. Park for up to two hours Monday-Friday, 7 am-6 pm; longer on evenings and weekends.
