This Week in Longmont – December 1, 2017
The City of Longmont is participating in a Fair Housing Study with the City/County of Denver, the City of Aurora and all of the Boulder County communities to better understand residents’ housing choices and their experiences living, working, and going to school in the area. An online survey has been created as part of the study to gather people’s experiences. The deadline for filing out the Fair Housing Survey has been extended to December 30, 2017. All information will be kept confidential and will only be reported in combination with other data. Respondents also have the opportunity to enter to win a $100 Visa card. The survey is available online at http://denver-aurora-boulderafh.com/surveys/ (multiple languages are available). Paper copies of the survey can be obtained from the City by calling 303-774-4648 or by E-mail at molly.mcelroy@longmontcolorado.gov.

Be Snow Savvy!
Love it or hate it, snow, ice and freezing temperatures are a fact of life in Colorado. Ensure that you’re ready throughout winter by checking out the Snow & Ice Control web pages at LongmontColorado.gov/snow. There you’ll find tips, frequently asked questions and a map of snow routes. During a snow/ice event, road condition updates will be posted on that web page Monday through Friday. You also can see road conditions at points around town through the real-time street snow cameras.
