Recycle Your Holiday
The City of Longmont provides several special trash and recycling services during the holidays. Christmas tree recycling is available December 26 through January 10 at four satellite drop-off locations. Wrapping paper and holiday lights can be recycled at the Waste Diversion Center, 140 Martin Street, from December 26 through January 30. Block Styrofoam® can be recycled at the Waste Diversion Center year-round. Visit LongmontColorado.gov/solidwaste or call 303 651-8416 for details and guidelines. Also, please take identification and a current City of Longmont utility bill to show that you are a city resident paying for trash and recycling services.

2016 Utility Rate Adjustments
Sanitation, wastewater and water rates will be adjusted per schedule in January 2016. New rates for 2016 apply to usage starting in January, so residents can anticipate changes to first be reflected on February bills. Money generated from utility fees and charges is used to keep up with costs of providing service, and all rate adjustments are adopted by the Longmont City Council. Longmont is proud to offer high quality services at some of the lowest rates in the region. For more information visit LongmontColorado.gov/utilities or call 303-651-8664.

Art on the Move Call to Artists
Art in Public Places is seeking submissions from Colorado artists for the 2016-2017 Art on the Move program. This year, up to 12 pieces will be selected to be exhibited in various locations throughout the city. Artists are awarded $750, and their work is on display for one year. The deadline for submissions is February 3. For details visit bit.ly/longmontaotm.
