Harps for the Holidays at the Library
The Longmont Public Library will be filled with the beautiful music of the harpists from the Colorado Celtic Harp Society as they perform “Harps for the Holidays” from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, December 12. Take a break and enjoy some festive cheer on the Library’s second floor. No registration is required, and all ages will enjoy the soaring melodies of this talented musical ensemble.

Navigating the 21st Century Office
If you have a small business and are wondering how to work with a commercial real estate agent, come to this workshop to learn how they can help you find the right space, what you need to know to work with the Longmont Planning & Development Services Department before you sign a lease, and what to expect regarding tenant improvements. This workshop, from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, December 8, at the Longmont Public Library at 409 4th Avenue, is one of a monthly series offered by the Library in partnership with the Longmont Area Economic Council and Coffee & Connections.
Keep Your Holidays Merry, Bright … and Safe!
The holidays can be a beautiful time of year in Longmont. To make sure they stay a safe one as well, remember to keep an eye out for decorations that may have frayed or bare wires, or that don’t plug as tightly as they once did. Those can be a fire hazard, so replace them and take the opportunity to make some new memories. For other winter safety tips from Longmont Power & Communications, visit LongmontColorado.gov/lpc.
Light a Candle Fundraiser at the Library
When you’re buying gifts this holiday season, don’t forget to show a little love toward your library. At the annual Light a Candle fundraising event at the Longmont Public Library you can give a gift that will be shared by hundreds or even thousands of your neighbors. This year, the event is from Monday, November 30, through Sunday, December 13. Donate a book – or a few books – and support your library! For details, visit the Library lobby at 409 4th Avenue or LongmontColorado.gov/library.
