Free Landfill Drop Day
The City of Longmont offers residents an opportunity to take one level pickup load free of charge to the Front Range Landfill at 1830 Weld County Road 5 in Erie from 6 am to 2 pm on Saturday, February 6. Loads must be covered and secured; oversize loads and second loads will be billed. Please take a photo ID and a copy of your current utility bill to show that you are a City of Longmont customer. Free Shredding Event on Saturday
Recycle personal documents safely and securely at this free event. Bring boxed or bagged papers to the Waste Diversion Center at 140 Martin Street between 9 am and 2 pm on Saturday, February 6. Also bring ID and a copy of your most recent Longmont utility bill. This event is for residential documents only; business materials will not be accepted. Sales and Use Tax Seminar
Do you have questions about the business sales and use tax in Longmont? A free seminar that will answer all your questions will be held from 10 am to noon on Wednesday, February 10, at the Civic Center, 350 Kimbark Street. West Alleyscape Project to Begin This Month
The Alleyscape and Breezeway Project will begin in February on the west side of Main Street between 3rd and 6th avenues. The project will start on the 300 block, then move to the 400 and 500 blocks later in the year. Work on each block should take three to four months. All businesses on these blocks will be open during construction, but please use their Main Street entrances. Convenient on-street parking is available throughout the area and in public lots on the east side of Main Street.
