Check Out Two Teen Events at the Library
Two fun events happen this week for teens at the Library. On Tuesday, July 22 at 6 pm, youth aged 11-17 can play Magic: The Gathering. Spoiler alert: all participants will receive a new card deck to take home! Register for the last Fiber Friday for Teens event of the summer, happening July 25, and make cyanotype prints. Free Outdoor Concert: The Delta Sonics
Stretch out in the Longmont Museum’s newly renovated Stewart Family Courtyard for a free concert Thursday, July 24 at 7 pm. Community Together – Walk Audit
Calling all community scientists! Join City staff on Saturday, July 26 from 10 am- 12:30 pm for a free guided walk audit from the Longmont Recreation Center to Burlington Elementary to check street safety for walking. You’ll practice collecting data, learn about street safety design, and more. We’ll walk over a mile, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sunscreen. No registration is required.
Coffee with a Cop Builds Relationships
Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and community members together, over free coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Experience it for yourself on Saturday, July 26 from 10 to noon at 627 Main Street. See the upcoming schedule at Coffee with a Cop online.
Glow Swim at Sunset Pool
Swim and glow under the stars with neon aqua Zumba®, music featuring a live DJ, floaties, and glowing games from 7-10 pm, Saturday, July 26 at Sunset Pool, 1900 Longs Peak Avenue. Avoid Blue-Green Algae Blooms
