Chick Clark Program Resumes for Kids 15 and Younger
Beginning March 19, kids 15 and younger can resume fishing at a fully restocked Izaak Walton Pond (18 Sunset Street). Parents and kids will be able to pick up a free rod and reel along with a small education packet at the St. Vrain Memorial Building (700 Longs Peak Avenue) from March 12-19. Hours for pickup are 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. – noon on Saturdays. 100 rods and reels will be available by registration only (bit.ly 3vB9GHB). The fishing rods are very simple and not suitable for adult use. We highly encourage that the young person be present with their parents at the time of pickup, so they may present the fishing pole directly to them. The educational session will not be provided this year.
