Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at Centennial Pool
Swimmers of all abilities can collect weighted eggs from the bottom of Centennial Pool at 1201 Alpine Street from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, March 31, during the annual underwater Easter egg hunt. A paying adult must be in the water with children age 5 and younger. The cost is $10 per family/$3 per swimmer/$1 per observer. Call 303-651-8406 to register.

2018 Ralph Price Reservoir Fishing Permits Sale
Annual fishing permits for Ralph Price Reservoir go on sale on Monday, April 2. A Colorado Parks & Wildlife fishing license is required at all City of Longmont fishing areas. An additional, special permit from the City of Longmont is required at Ralph Price Reservoir inside Button Rock Preserve. Permits will be on sale in Longmont and Lyons at a cost of $20 for City of Longmont and Town of Lyons water utility customers, and $30 for others. Be Ready for Curbside Tree Limb Collection
The City of Longmont offers residents FREE curbside collection of tree limbs each spring. To participate, your tree limbs must be placed curbside by 7 am on the MONDAY of your scheduled collection week. Limbs will be collected at residences located north of 9th Avenue the week of April 2. Limbs will be collected at residences located south of 9th Avenue the week of April 9. Limbs must be stacked and cut into lengths no longer than 6 feet. No limb can be larger than 6 inches in diameter. For all guidelines, which must be followed to ensure pick-up, visit longmontcolorado.gov/solidwaste or call (303) 651-8416.

Help Longmont Spruce Up for Spring!
Businesses, groups, schools, families and individuals are invited to help spruce up the city. Volunteers can pick a park, greenway, street, alley or open space to clean up, or an area of need can be assigned. The Grand Kick-Off for the month-long event will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 am on Saturday, April 7, at Sunset Campus, 7 South Sunset Street. If you can’t participate on kick-off day, you can help “Clean-up, Green-up” through April 30. Sleeping Beauty Ballet Storytime
To commemorate its 20th anniversary, the Centennial State Ballet Company will visit the Longmont Public Library at 409 4th Avenue from 11 am to noon on Saturday, April 7, for a storytime that includes an excerpted performance of “Sleeping Beauty.” This family-friendly version of the classic ballet is a terrific opportunity to introduce young children to the beauty of ballet as storytelling. Become Water-Wise with Landscape Seminars
Resource Central is partnering with the City of Longmont to offer Water-Wise Landscape Seminars on xeriscape and other sustainable landscaping practices. These seminars are free to residents, and they are open to everyone. Registration is required. Resource Central will host 23 seminars in 13 communities across the Front Range. Seminars will be held in Longmont from 6 to 8 pm on April 10 and April 23 at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Avenue.
