Vision Zero Action Plan Launch
The Vision Zero Task Force will be hosting the Vision Zero Equitable Action Plan launch on April 3 from 6-7:30 pm at the Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Ave. This event will focus on making Longmont safer, more accessible, and better connected. It is open to all community members and food will be provided. Collaborate with City staff and help shape a plan aimed at eliminating fatal crashes and serious injuries in Longmont. Erik Satie and All That Jazz Concert
Join the Longmont Museum for a concert featuring the work of French composer Erik Satie, who broke with tradition to bring jazz to Paris in the 1920s. Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
Eggs will be distributed throughout the leisure pool between 5-7:30 pm on April 5 at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Rd. Registration for this special event ($7/person) is online now and spots are limited. New in 2025, there is no fee and no registration required for adults who swim with their registered children. Youth Life Skills Fair
The City of Longmont’s Children, Youth and Families division has teamed up with the St. Vrain Valley School District to host a Youth Life Skills Fair. Teens aged 11-17 can explore hands-on workshops on everything from health and practical skills to job opportunities. The event will include games, a live DJ and food trucks offering refreshments for purchase on April 6, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (9595 Nelson Road in Longmont). Tree Branch Collection
The City of Longmont offers a FREE curbside collection of tree branches each spring. Branches must be placed curbside before 7 am on the Monday of your scheduled collection week and remain at the curb until picked up. Citywide branch collection runs from April 7-11 for residences north of 9th Avenue and from April 14-18 for areas south of 9th Avenue.
