Open House at Callahan House & Garden
The Historic Callahan House & Garden at 312 Terry Street will host an Open House with tours from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday, May 11, as part of Downtown Longmont’s ArtWalk. Admire works by local artists while you learn some local history. Admission is free. Learn About Longmont’s Sales and Use Tax
Do you have questions about the business sales and use tax in Longmont? A free seminar that will answer all your questions will be held from 10 am to noon on Wednesday, May 15, at the Civic Center, 350 Kimbark Street. To register, email Sales.Tax@LongmontColorado.gov or call 303-651-8674.

Help Select Longmont Museum Programs
The Longmont Museum is looking to the future and would like your input on concepts for museum programs. You’re invited and encouraged to take a simple two-minute survey at bit.ly/LeadershipLongmont by May 26.

Coffee with Council
Longmont City Council will host Coffee with Council from 9 to 10 am on Saturday, May 18, at the Firehouse Art Center, 667 4th Avenue. At this event, you can talk informally with at least two council members on any topic of your choice, and the coffee’s on us! Council Members Finley and Rodriguez are scheduled to attend. Peace Officer Memorial Service 
The public is invited to the 2019 Peace Officer Memorial Service at 6 pm on Wednesday, May 15, on the front steps of the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark Street. This annual service honors law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and it voices our appreciation for all who serve on the front lines to keep our community safe. Wildlife Management Plan Update
Join the City’s Parks, Open Spaces and Trails Division in updating the 2006 Wildlife Management Plan from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 15, at the Service Center, 1100 S. Sherman Street. The Wildlife Management Plan Update team will report progress to the Board of Environmental Affairs Visit bit.ly/wildlife-management-plan for information on meetings and to subscribe for future updates.

Fun Fridays Begin at Sandstone Ranch
The last Itty Bitty City for the season at the Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Avenue, is Friday, May 17, but kids will enjoy weekly themed crafts and activities from 9 am to noon every Friday, June 7 through July 26, at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. Parents must supervise their children, and please consider carpooling due to limited parking. Fun Fridays are free with a $2 per child suggested donation to cover the cost of supplies. Register for Longmont Summer Day Camp
Registration for Longmont Summer Day Camp and Tween LOCO Camp at the Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Avenue, is open and ongoing. Celebrate “Game of Thrones” at the Library
To commemorate the conclusion of HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” the Longmont Library will host “Game of Thrones: Game Over Party” from 6 to 8:30 pm on Saturday, June 8, at the Library, 409 4th Avenue. Enjoy games, trivia, crafts, an iron throne for selfies, and abundant refreshments. Costumes are encouraged.
