Forever Chemicals in Our Water?

Longmont Ice Pavilion Opens Friday

The Longmont Ice Pavilion, 725 8th Ave., the outdoor ice rink where folks skate, play hockey, and take skating lessons, opens on Friday, Nov. 21. Private rentals are available. Holiday Plaza Lighting This Saturday

Let’s light up Downtown with the Holiday Plaza Lighting on Saturday, November 22 from 6 to 7 pm at the Library West Plaza (350 Kimbark St.). City of Longmont Goody Bags will be given to 300 attendees. Join us for music, holiday characters, photo ops with Santa, make-and-take craft activities, warm drinks, sweet treats and more.

 

Lifeguard & Swim Instructor Trainings

Sign up for lifeguard and swim teacher trainings now so you can get hired to work now or this coming summer. You must be 15 years or older and must attend all class sessions to become certified. You can now purchase the popular Golf Longmont Players Cards at Sunset, Twin Peaks, or Ute Creek golf courses during regular business hours. Holiday Week Trash Collections: Mon-Wed

The City of Longmont Waste Services’ collections will be one day early during the week of Thanksgiving. Bins should be at the curb before 7 am one day earlier than normal and remain out until picked up. Were you missed? Call 303-651-8416 to schedule pick-up.
