Holiday Week Trash Collections: Mon-Wed
The City of Longmont Waste Services’ collections will be one day early during the week of Thanksgiving. Bins should be at the curb before 7 am one day earlier than normal and remain out until picked up. Were you missed? Call 303-651-8416 to schedule pick-up. See the schedule at waste collection online and get the Waste Services App to receive schedule reminders and notifications.
Holiday Schedules for City Facilities
Most City facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The Longmont Library will close early on Wednesday, Nov. 26. All recreation facilities will be closed on Nov. 27. The Memorial Building, Recreation Center, Ice Pavilion and Centennial Pool will be open on Nov. 28. Find schedules online.
Annual Longmont Museum Holiday Show
The Longmont Museum’s holiday tradition returns for its 10th year on Saturday, Dec. 6 at both 3 pm and 7 pm! Join us for classic songs of the season (with a twist) from some of the finest musicians in the region. Hosted and featuring Longmont’s own Bonnie & Taylor Sims. Lifeguard & Swim Instructor Trainings
Sign up for Longmont Swim Instructor training on December 6-7 so you can get hired to work this winter or this coming summer. You must be 15 years or older to become certified. Learn about the classes and job positions offered online or email swim@longmontcolorado.govor call 303-774-4706.
New Affordable Housing in NW Longmont
Ascent at Hover Crossing is a new affordable housing community in northwest Longmont. The 75-unit family-friendly community will include 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom income-restricted apartment homes for households that earn up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The popular Golf Longmont Players Cards are now on sale at Sunset, Twin Peaks, or Ute Creek golf courses during regular business hours.
