Zikr Dance Ensemble’s “Ritual”
Experience an international cast of world class dancers in Zikr Dance Ensemble’s “Ritual” at the Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium this Saturday, Oct. 4 at 7 pm. The work is influenced by both Western and Eastern dance, contemporary art, Chinese martial arts, and Japanese manga and includes projected film and immersive set design. Celebrate Banned Books Week, Oct 5-11
Banned Books Week highlights the importance of free access to information and the dangers of censorship. The Library will showcase challenged books and host a free community event, “Books on the Chopping Block” with Outlaw Production Collective, at the Longmont Museum on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 2:30–4 pm. “Citizen Kane” at the Longmont Museum
Join the Longmont Museum for a screening of Orson Welles’ classic “Citizen Kane” on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 pm. The film tells the story of newspaper tycoon Kane’s rise and fall, capturing the dangers of unchecked ambition and originating new filmmaking techniques that still feel fresh and innovative for viewers today. Volunteer to Serve on a Board

Longmont Ice Pavilion Registration Opens
The Longmont Ice Pavilion (725 8th Ave.) is a seasonal outdoor ice rink, offering public skating, hockey, lessons, and private facility rentals.
