Tiny Art for a Short Month Exhibit

A Library exhibit showcasing tiny art made by adults and kids in Longmont will be on display at the Library this February.

Adults have been picking up free 3″ x 3″ canvases at the Reference Desk this month to take home, decorate or paint, and submit in our Tiny Art for a Short Month exhibit. Adults: if want to participate, there’s still time! Canvases are available for adults while supplies last.

All art mediums are welcome—paint, collage, fiber, mixed media, you name it—just make sure your artwork is suitable for all ages, as the finished pieces will be on public display.

Artwork must be submitted by January 31. Please include your entry form with your first name and art medium so we can display it correctly in the exhibit.

Kids and teens can make tiny art, too!

The Library is hosting two free tiny art events next week! Don’t miss:

Jan. 27 | Tiny Art for Kids | 4-5 pm

Register your child for this free event next Tuesday. All supplies will be provided and art created in this program will be displayed in the glass cases in the Children’s Area in February.

Jan. 28 | Tiny Art for Teens | 6-7 pm

Our teen event is next Wednesday from 6-7 pm. This is a free, drop in event. Art created in this program will be displayed in the glass cases in the Children’s Area in February.
