Join Parks staff and fellow volunteers for a Trail Season Kickoff event at Button Rock Preserve on Saturday, August 26. Volunteers will work along the Hummingbird Trail building steps, working on the switchbacks and closing social trails. Be prepared to dig, scrape, move rocks – and have a ton of fun! No experience necessary – experienced trail crew leads will provide direction. At the end of the project, participants will kick off this trail season with a celebration featuring local live music, refreshments and snacks.
