Full bookshelves next to television

Turning the Page on TV Viewing

I’m a big reader. Always have been. And one of the 3,784 reasons (one for each volume in my home library – this week) is the element of choice. Full bookshelves next to television

If I want a history book, or a fantasy novel, or a book about the Muppets, I pull one off the shelf. If I don’t have what I’m looking for, I can check it out of the library or order it online. And I don’t have to get three shelves of books I don’t want just to get the one I do.

Now let’s talk television. And especially, let’s talk television with the NextLight internet service.

Unlike a cable or satellitNew 2020 NextLight Logoe service, NextLight doesn’t make you pay for unwieldy blocks of programming – most of which you’ll never watch – offered at rigid times and days. (“Watch Scrooge McDuck’s Deli Delights each day at 3 p.m.  on the Toon Treats Network.”) Instead, what NextLight has is an ultra-high-speed fiber connection. One of the fastest in the country, in fact.

Because of that, it’s exceptionally easy to tie into any streaming television service you want – services like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime and many more – that allow you to watch only the programs you want to watch, at any day or time you like.

Just like grabbing a book from the shelf.

To find out more about this (and about old-school antenna options for local programming), check out our advice and video on “cutting the cord”.  And then relax. Like the rest of your NextLight world, your viewing choices are in your hands.
