Two-Week Closure of 8th Avenue East of the Intersection with Coffman Street
Starting Wednesday, March 19, 8th Avenue will be closed east of the intersection at Coffman Street for approximately two weeks. This closure is necessary to install new concrete and pave the intersection for the Coffman Street Mobility Improvements project.
- The intersection will be closed to all through traffic.
- Vehicles exiting the 8th Avenue Park-n-Ride will only be able to turn right onto southbound Coffman Street.
- Southbound traffic on Coffman Street will not be able to turn left onto 8th Avenue.
- Westbound traffic on 8th Avenue will need to turn around and exit back to Main Street or use the alley between Main Street and Coffman Street.
- Two parking spaces on the north side of 8th Avenue closest to Coffman Street will be closed.
- Access to all businesses on 8th Avenue east of Coffman Street will remain open from Main Street and the alley.
