Volunteers Needed – Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center

The Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive, is seeking volunteers from 8:30am-2pm on weekdays to assist with environmental and educational field trips for 2nd graders in Spring 2018. 

The field trips involve a nature hike and age appropriate hands-on learning activities including catching and identifying macro invertebrates and identifying birds. Walking is required and volunteer training will be provided.  

Helpful experience includes:

• Working with kids
• Working outdoors
• Speaking in public
• Background in teaching
• Environmental, biological, wildlife, Botany, naturalist or other similar type backgrounds
