Whether you love bicycles or they’re in your beeping way, there’s a workshop for you!
Whether you love bicycles, or they make you beep, you can learn how to travel more safely and enjoyably this winter at one of two upcoming free workshops.
Are Bicycles in Your Way?
At the final “Get the Beep out of My Way” workshop of 2023 you’ll learn why people on bicycles do what they do, what the laws are, and how to keep yourself and others safe whether you’re driving, walking or biking. The workshop is free, but please register in advance at bit.ly/sharetheroad23
- When: Tuesday, December 5 at 5:00 pm
- Where: St. Vrain Cidery; 350 Terry Street, Suite 130 (main access is from the alley between 3rd & 4th Avenues and between Terry and Coffman Streets)
Want to Ride Your Bicycle in the Winter?
Don’t let the cold keep you off your bike! At the Safe Winter Bicycling workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know to stay safe. How to dress to stay warm, ride on snow and ice, carry stuff, see (and be seen) in the dark, and more. It’s free; please register in advance at bit.ly/wintersafebicycle23
- When: Wednesday, December 6 at 5:30 pm
- Where: Long Mont Velo, 1111 Francis Street
Both workshops are lighthearted, fun and very informative – and everyone is welcome.
