The Longmont Department of Public Safety (police/fire/Office of Emergency Management/Longmont Emergency Communications Center) is dedicated to enhancing public safety and reducing the fear and incidence of crime and fire danger. There are many things each one of us can do to reduce his or her chance of becoming a victim. By educating the Longmont community on techniques and by getting citizens involved in prevention, we can reduce the number of crimes and accidents and increase the quality of life for all residents.
