The City of Longmont Department of Public Safety Professional Staff are often the “face” of the department when residents come to the Safety and Justice building for assistance.  They consist of people working in the public forefront and behind the scenes to help manage the many tasks and duties required to maintain an efficient operation. These talented people lend their skills in handling day to day administration duties, answering all incoming emergency and non-emergency telephone calls and speaking with residents with walk-in reports and complaints. They also serve in community service positions assisting with traffic and animal control. These positions include but are not limited to:
