Rebates for Water Efficient Fixtures
Shop at your preferred vendor for eligible water efficient fixtures and apply for a rebate applied directly to your bill post-purchase. Explore our rebates for water efficient appliances like smart irrigation controllers, high efficiency toilets, dishwashers, washing machines and more. Â
Note: Retail product rebate applications must be submitted within 45 days of purchase. Used/refurbished equipment is not eligible.Â

Eligible Equipment
- Machine must be ENERGY STAR certified. Â
- Can combine with electric rebate if account also receives City of Longmont electric service through Efficiency Works. Apply on the Efficiency Works website.Â
Tank toilet – <= 1.1 GPF, MaP Premium listed, Up to $90
- Toilet must be 1.1 gallons per flush (GPF) or less and be on the MaP Premium list to qualifyÂ
- MaP Premium eligibility will be confirmed using the MaP website, by entering in the model number of the toilet purchased. Model information will be taken from the receipt, other provided documentation, or from a retailer website where the purchase was made. If the search does not result in a toilet being MaP Premium listed, the toilet will not be deemed eligible for the MaP Premium rebate.  Â
- Dual flush toilets qualify only if they are MaP Premium listed. Any dual flush toilet with a 1.6 flush does not qualify for the MaP Premium rebate.Â
Tank toilet – <= 1.1 GPF single flush, Up to $60
- Toilet must be single flush, 1.1 gallons per flush (GPF) or less to qualify Â
- Dual flush tank toilets do not qualify for this rebateÂ
Tank toilet – Dual flush 1.1/1.6 GPF, Up to $30
- Toilet must be a 1.1/1.6 gallons per flush (GPF) dual flush tank toilet to qualify.Â
Showerhead must be 1.5 gallons per minute (GPM) or lessÂ
Weather-based irrigation controller or add on, Up to $65
- Rebate is intended for controllers connected to an in-ground irrigation system Â
- WaterSense labeled add on device will make an irrigation controller WaterSense labeled and able to adapt watering schedules as weather changes.Â
Rotary nozzles, up to $4/ nozzle
- Rotary nozzles, or high efficiency nozzles, slowly deliver multiple streams of water – reducing water waste; rotor nozzles or rotor heads and pressure reducing spray heads do not qualify. Â
- Minimum of 3 to applyÂ
Rain sensor, Up to $20 (wired) Up to $40 (wireless)Â
- Required to be connected to an in-ground irrigation system Â
- Wireless model is also required to be connected to a weather-based irrigation controller that controls an in-ground irrigation systemÂ
Soil moisture sensor, Up to $60
- Rebate is intended for equipment connected to a permanent in-ground irrigation system and calibrates with the irrigation controller to irrigate when moisture has been depleted from the soil
Drip conversion equipment, Up to $130
- Rebate is for converting grass/turf zones to drip irrigation; drip systems installed with a new in-ground irrigation system do not qualify Â
- Eligible equipment includes drip hose, conversion heads, emitters, hooks and clamps, risers, etc.Â
Spigot timer, up to $65
- Timer is required to have an automatic shutoff Â
- Rebate is intended for equipment not associated with an in-ground irrigation systemÂ
Flow sensor, up to $130Â
- Flow sensors measure how slowly or quickly water is flowing through an irrigation system and sends that information to an irrigation controllerÂ
- Required to be connected to a WaterSense irrigation controllerÂ

Other opportunities for communities and HOAs is through Northern Water. This grant program provides funding for water-efficient landscape upgrade projects.
