The City of Longmont requires a test for all General and Mechanical Contractors.

The City of Longmont does not have reciprocal licensing agreements with any other jurisdiction. The City does honor current test result certificates from the International Code Council (ICC). Tests are given at locations throughout the state. For details see the ICC web site.  The City honors test exam certificates of our current adopted Code and will also go back one Code cycle from the current adopted Code.

Standardized testing is administered thru ICC's approved testing site Pearson Vue.  To schedule a test you can go on line at www.pearsonvue.com or call 877-234-6082.  The International Code Council is also testing thru their website, please visit ICCsafe.org.
