Longmont Municipal Court
The Longmont Judicial Department is comprised of the Municipal Court and Probation. The Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction and handles violations of the Longmont Municipal Code and Charter. It is located in the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.
UPCOMING CLOSURES
The Longmont Safety and Justice Center lobby (public access to Longmont Municipal Court, Probation, Fire, and Police) will be be closed on:
- Friday, January 16, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (lobby closed – please use emergency and non-emergency phone numbers.)
The Longmont Municipal Court and Probation will be closed on:
- Monday, January 19, 2026 (Martin Luther King Holiday)
- Thursday, January 29, 2026 (All window and online access unavailble due to software upgrade )
- Friday, January 30, 2026 (All window and online access unavailble due to software upgrade )
- Monday, February 2, 2026 (All window and online access unavailble due to software upgrade )
CONSTRUCTION & PARKING RELATED CLOSURES
Please plan to arrive early for your court date. Multiple construction projects are currently taking place at and around our Safety & Justice Center which is affecting parking. Building access is through the Northwest Entrance. Please plan accordingly and leave any prohibited items, including electronic recording devices and cellular phones, in your vehicle.
In January 2026, the NW parking lot of the Safety & Justice Center will be closed for construction. This includes the handicap spots. Parking will be available within the East lot of the Safety & Justice Center.

Building access is through the Northwest Entrance. We ask that you plan to park in the lot east of the building accessible from Emery Street or any available street parking. Follow the signs to the NW Entrance, allowing extra time to get into the building. Limited handicapped parking may be available along Kimbark Street south of 3rd Avenue.
