Ice Rink Admission Fees 2024-2025
Valid only at the Longmont Ice Pavilion. Optional Skate Rental is an additional $4.00 per person. Note: annual and quarterly passes do not include free skate rental. See bulk skate rental pass pricing with ice skate rental packages below.
Group Rate Pricing: 10+ skaters
Groups of 10 or more receive a per-person discount of the general admission rate (skate rentals not included). Alternatively, consider purchasing an ice or ice+skate rental punch pass for deeper discounts.

Need Rental Ice Skates? Skate rentals are available at the front counter during general admission to any Open Skate or Hockey Session. Save time by purchasing Ice Skate Rental Packages before the Open Skate Session.
Got a Helmet?  Helmets on the ice are optional, but if you would like to wear one, please bring one from home. Bike, Ski, Snowboard, Skateboard helmets all work! Some loaner Helmets are available.
Private Ice Skate Facility Rentals – 2024-25

Afterhours Rentals
We are now accepting 2024-25 reservations for private ice rentals for your party or group. Skater count and time of day affects pricing; see details toward bottom of webpage “Rent the Ice Rink“. Due to limited availability, dates are expected to fill early. Call 303-651-8443 or email ice@longmontcolorado.gov for availability. Please include your date and time choices and number of skaters. Your rental includes rental skates.

• Private Rentals may enter the facility to decorate/set up and start getting ice skates 15 minutes before start of rental. Snacks, pizza, cake, hot chocolate, etc. can be brought inside the rink but must be kept in the picnic table area. No alcohol allowed.
Ice Hockey
The Longmont Ice Rink and Pavilion offers a variety of hockey programs for youth and adults.
Drop-In Hockey and Stick & Puck Sessions 2024-2025 Season
Please arrive at the facility ready to hit the ice, no changing tents will be available, and exit the facility as soon as your session has concluded. Only youth 8 & under can have the parent on the ice with them. Recreation passes are not valid.
Register in advance to secure your spot.Â
Session Definitions:
- Adult Drop-In Hockey (18 years old +)
Short warm up, followed by games.- $10 res/$12.25 non-res
- Stick & Puck (Open = All Ages or 17 and Younger, as specified)
Work on skating, puck & stick handling, and shooting.- $8 res/$10 non-res

Receive instruction on all skill aspects of hockey to develop and/or improve your skills. This is a great opportunity to learn the game, develop new skills, or improve on the ones you already have. Class is divided between instruction and a controlled scrimmage so you can practice your skills in a game environment. Fee includes a jersey.
Beginner Level: 7:30-9pm Mondays
Intermediate Level: 7:30-9pm Thursdays
For ages 18 and older.  Enroll in hockey skills class online.
Youth Hockey
Longmont’s USA Hockey Youth Ice Hockey Program for ages 5-18 is an affordable in-house program focusing on developing individual skills and team play for both new and returning players. Registration includes two practices and one game per week, jersey, and rental hockey skates if needed.
All participants must also register with USA Hockey and provide their USA Hockey number when registering.  Enroll in the Longmont Ice Pavilion youth hockey league.
Registration is ongoing on a space-available basis.
