Grant Funding Information
The Housing and Community Investment Division seeks applications for the City’s Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) and Boulder County’s Affordable and Attainable Housing Tax (AAHT). HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and the Attainable Housing Fund are not available for 2026 funding applications.

Funding Sources
The Housing and Community Investment Division has multiple sources of funding to support the goals and objectives stated in its Consolidated Plan to foster housing choice and affordability for lower-income residents, neighborhood revitalization, and community development.
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funding is used primarily to develop viable communities by providing affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing; to develop a suitable living environment; and to expand economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income people. CDBG is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
- HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program funding is use to strengthen public-private partnerships to expand the supply of decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for low-income households. HOMEÂ is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
- The City of Longmont’s Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) is locally funded and dedicated to supporting affordable housing projects in Longmont, serving households up to 80% Area Median Income (AMI).
- The City of Longmont’s Attainable Housing Fund (AttHF) is locally funded and dedicated to supporting attainable housing projects in Longmont, serving households up to 120% AMI.
- The City of Longmont distributes revenues from Boulder County’s Affordable and Attainable Housing Tax (AAHT) for projects located within Longmont. View Boulder County’s AAHT Grant Terms.
