Southbound Coffman Street Closing May 5 Between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue
Starting Monday May 5, the southbound lanes of Coffman Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue will be closed for approximately three months. The northbound lanes will be open in this block. This is the start of construction on the west side of Coffman Street which will progress to the south from 6th Avenue toward 2nd Avenue, similar to the work that is happening on the east side of Coffman Street in these blocks.

- The southbound lanes of Coffman Street will be closed between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue. Only northbound traffic will be allowed in this block. Parking on the west side of Coffman Street will be prohibited.
- The northbound lanes of Coffman Street will remain closed between 2nd Avenue and 4th Avenue. Only southbound traffic is allowed in these blocks. Parking on the east side of Coffman Street is prohibited in these blocks.
- Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street will remain closed between 5th Avenue at The Spoke parking garage and 6th Avenue for approximately four more weeks. Access to the parking garage at The Spoke is open from 5th Avenue.
- Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Coffman Street are open between 6th Avenue and 9th Avenue.
- The eastbound lane of 5th Avenue will remain closed from approximately 100 feet west of Coffman Street through the intersection for approximately four more weeks. Westbound traffic on 5th Avenue will be permitted to cross the intersection starting Saturday, May 3.
- Access to all businesses on Coffman Street will remain open. Some driveways on Coffman Street may be temporarily closed for short periods. The contractor will coordinate with each affected business to discuss the timing of the closures.
