Temporary Closure of the East Side of Red Oak Drive and Pace Street Starting Monday, May 18
Beginning Monday, May 18 through Saturday, May 23, the east side of the intersection at Red Oak Drive and Pace Street will be closed to complete roadway improvements as part of the Pace Street & Rough and Ready Trail Improvements project.
Access through the east side of the intersection will not be permitted during the closure. No turns will be permitted from Pace St. onto eastbound Red Oak Drive. Local traffic will need to use one of the following detour routes to access Pace Street during the closure.
Northbound traffic will continue north on Pace Street to 17th Avenue, turn right onto 17th Avenue, then right onto Deerwood Drive, followed by a right onto Cedarwood Drive, and continue along Cedarwood Drive.
Southbound traffic will continue south on Pace Street, turn left onto Mountain View Avenue, then left onto Laurel Court, followed by a left onto Cedarwood Drive, and continue along Cedarwood Drive.

Regular construction hours are Monday – Friday from 7 am – 6 pm. Detour signs will direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to alternate routes throughout construction. For safety, pedestrians should avoid using sidewalks that are closed for construction and follow designated detour routes.
More information about the project schedule and traffic impacts can be found on the project website. Questions or concerns should be directed to the project hotline at 720-442-8395 or PaceStreet@longmontcolorado.gov.
