Noon Year’s Party, Wings of Fire and a Guest Cellist!
There is so much to celebrate at the Library this week! Join us Monday, Dec. 30 at 2 pm for a Wings of Fire series party for 1st-8th graders. On Dec. 31, from 11- noon, K-5th graders can ring in 2025 with different New Year’s traditions, games, and activities from around the world. Next Monday, Jan. 6, help us welcome cellist Katarina M. New Year’s Day Zumba® Dance Party
Enjoy friends, fitness and fun to ring in the new year! Recreation fitness instructors are hosting the 14th annual New Year’s Day Zumba® dance party from 1-2:30 pm Wednesday, Jan. 1 at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Road. This event is for all ages and children must be supervised. Cost is $10 per person (passes not accepted). Doors open at 12:45 pm and no pre-registration needed. Visit the LEGO Exhibit at the Museum
Visit the Longmont Museum this this holiday season for “Build: Design & Create with LEGO!,” a hands-on exhibit for all ages. Build and race a LEGO car, tackle an architectural challenge, save the world with a wondrous invention, or explore and play as far as your imagination takes you. Open through Jan. 12, 2025. Celebrate an Energy-efficient 2025
Start off 2025 strong by giving yourself the gift of energy efficiency. Time to Compost
As of January 1, 2025 food wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, and grocery stores are required to have a compost collection service for all food waste. Coupons and other resources are available on a first come, first serve basis to help pay the bill for new collection service.
