Virtual Teen Career Day
Earn more than just a paycheck! Join the Longmont Youth Center for our Virtual Teen Career Day on from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, March 25. History Talk & Tour at Sandstone Ranch
Enjoy a 60-minute outdoor talk about the historic Morse Coffin Family Home, followed by a self-guided inside tour, on Saturday, March 27, at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. Tours start at at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Learn about the home’s early history and major renovation to the house in the 1900s. All ages welcome; please dress for the weather. Virtual Talk with Author Jamie Ford
Best-selling author Jamie Ford will present a virtual talk on Wednesday, March 31, from 7-8 p.m. Ford is the great-grandson of a Nevada mining pioneer who emigrated from Kaiping, China to San Francisco in 1865. His debut novel, “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet,” spent two years on the New York Times bestseller list and won the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature. Be Ready For Spring Branch Collection
The City of Longmont provides residents with a curbside collection of tree limbs each spring. To participate, your tree limbs must be placed curbside (no alley collection) before 7 a.m. on the MONDAY of your scheduled collection week. Crews go through each neighborhood only once during specified collection dates:

• Residences located north of 9th Avenue: Week of April 5
• Residences located south of 9th Avenue: Week of April 12

Scan, Fax Your Documents at the Library
Just in time for Uncle Sam’s tax filings, the Longmont Public Library is introducing a new photocopier that allows patrons to securely and privately scan documents and then send them via fax or email to another destination — for free! The service is available in the Adult Computer Lab, which currently requires reservations due to pandemic restrictions. Call 303-651-8769 to make your 15-minute reservation.

Longmont Museum Summer Camp 2021
Registration is now open for the Longmont Museum’s 2021 summer camp season, with programs planned outdoors, indoors, and virtually. Camp sessions run June 7 through July 30 for children ages 3 to 16. Children can explore popular themes such as Longmont history, STEM, visual arts, outdoor skills, pop-culture, fabric arts and sewing, music and theatre, a wizard’s school, and classic arts and crafts. Need-based scholarships are available.
