Longmont Museum Announces Summer Season
The Longmont Museum officially announced their summer season. It marks a full, in-person reopening of the Museum, which has been limited to virtual programming for much of the past year. Programming includes their popular historic Longmont walking tours, led by Curator of History Erik Mason. The Museum will host custom “Historic 3rd Avenue” tours and “Historic Downtown” tours, with a special emphasis on commemorating the 150th anniversary of Longmont’s founding, beginning June 2. Advanced registration is required. Precautions for safety at the Museum continue, including enhanced cleaning, limitations on the number of people allowed in the building at a time, signage for physical distancing, and required masks for visitors age 3 and older. Visit longmontmuseum.org to download the full Summer 2021 Newsletter from the homepage and to learn more about and register for programs.
