Memorial Brick Program
The City of Longmont offers both a Memorial Brick and a Memorial Bench Program. Each offers a powerful way to celebrate the life of a loved one. Memorial Bricks can be placed at either the Memorial Rose Garden at Roosevelt Park or at Sandstone Ranch Community Park.
Pricing
The cost of a Memorial Brick depends on the size options available at each location.
Brick Options at Sandstone Ranch Community Park
- 8″ x 8″ bricks are $95 each
- 4″ x 8″ bricks are $85 each
Color options at Sandstone Ranch Community Park include Nutmeg, Red Rustic or Gray.
Brick Options at the Memorial Rose Garden at Roosevelt Park
- 4″ x 8″ bricks are $85 each
The only color available for these bricks is Nutmeg.
Installation Schedule
There are two installation periods per year when orders are filled. For orders received by the end of December, installations will occur the following spring. For orders received by the end of April, installations will occur in late summer.
How to Request a Memorial Brick
You can submit a Memorial Brick Request in one of two ways:
- Log into your household account, visit the RecTrac Online Store, and add the “Longmont Memorial Brick Program” to your cart, or:
- Access the City’s customer landing page maintained by the City’s Memorial Brick vendor and follow the steps outlined there.
After receiving your Memorial Brick Request, a staff member will contact you to finalize the details of your purchase.
Additional Details
The City reserves the right to relocate a memorial brick to accommodate construction, maintenance or any other issues. The City will be considerate in relocating the brick as close as possible to the original location.
