The City of Longmont, through the Ecosystem Management Workgroup, has grants available through its funded research program for scientific research, monitoring, and resource inventories on City lands. This funding will be provided for research, monitoring or inventories conducted by third parties to help further the City’s understanding of our natural resources and management practices.
Interested applicants should review the program guidelines and be aware of the following timeline.

Front Range Open Space Symposium
Did you know that the City of Longmont partners with Boulder County, Jefferson County, and Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) to fund small research grants for scientists working on public lands? Interested?
Attend the virtual Front Range Open Space Symposium. You’ll learn how grant recipient research on the front range is shaping conservation, recreation management and climate resilience. You will hear directly from funded researchers as they share findings on wildlife, ecosystems, recreation and climate change. You can choose one or both mornings:
